• You must plan on completing your assignments every time and on time.
  • You are to complete your reading assignments as they are assigned.
  • Homework turned in on the assigned due date may receive full credit, if completed fully, accurately, and full effort demonstrated.
  • Homework received after the assigned due date and at the beginnning of the class period (extenuating circumstances aside) will be accepted for 50% of the assigned point value up within one week of the due date. After that date, no points will be awarded for the assignment.
  • Assignments are to be completed before arriving to class. Assignments completed during class will be considered as late.
  • Classwork must be presented in a neat and orderly manner for credit.
  • You are required to do your own class work.
  • Cheating or plagiarizing may include any of the following: participating in a group effort that presents plagiarized materials; downloading and submitting materials from electronic databases; purchasing and submitting materials as your own; copying from someone’s homework, exam; allowing someone else to copy from your work; accepting credit for work completed without your participation; using notes or other materials during an exam without the teacher’s knowledge.
  • To avoid plagiarism, direct quotations require quotation marks and source citation, and you must also cite sources when using any other person’s language, ideas, theories, data, figures, graphs or electronic information.
  • You may not receive or give unauthorized assistance in the preparation of any assignments and exams.
  • The result of cheating or plagiarizing will be a zero for the assignment and notification of parents/guardians and Administration.
